Life presents us with so much;
So many sights, sounds, sensations, smells, tastes, thoughts and emotions;
So many opportunities to experience victory or defeat, and to enjoy pleasure or suffer pain.
Life is so full that few people look for anything else.
But some do.
A few people, weary of the constant train of experience and wary that all lives end, ask, “is there anything else?”
The Great Sages of all spiritual paths say there is something else.
They say there is Truth, Tao, God, the Infinite; there are many names.
They say this other Reality is the source of true peace; true love; true joy.
There is a way to commune with this other Reality. It begins by spending some time each day in meditation.
Meditation is a systematic process to focus and quiet the mind so that the voice of the Infinite within can be heard.
If you would like to taste this peace, this love, this joy,
Then spend some of your time and energy to do so.
Just a little at first.
Then, as your practice begins to yield tastes of the goal,
You may naturally want to spend more of your time and energy in meditation.
But, always, it’s your choice.
