We often imagine that if we just had this thing, or that circumstance, to be happy. Whether it's a relationship, or a dress, or car, or certain job, we struggle for these things hoping it will make me happy. But when we actually obtain our goal, we might be a certain joy for a brief time, but the happiness doesn't last. Then we start going for the next thing to make us happy. The reason such happiness doesn't last is because the source of happiness is inside of ourselves. Not outside. If we search for something where it doesn't exist, we don't find it. Things, circumstances can't give us happiness. True happiness is our birthright. We have a buried treasure right inside of us. If we seek that treasure, then we might find true, deep and lasting joy. Yoga is a method to find this happiness.
