Thought Bite: A Meditator's Perspective

Originally published in 2013, this is a message I felt bears repeating.

A Yoga-meditation practitioner looks inward to find ultimate truth.

This doesn't mean that the meditator ignores the world. The fact is that the world exists and so it must be paid close attention.

The difference between the inner-directed and the outer-directed person is that the former lives in the world while aware of a deeper truth, while the latter accepts the appearances as the solid and only truth.
